Image Rights & Credits
Umi's House Effective date: August 17, 2026
The work shown on this Site represents projects, images, and ideas produced by Umi's House and its collaborators. We take authorship and credit seriously — both protecting our own work and acknowledging the people we make it with.
Ownership
Unless otherwise noted, the designs, drawings, renderings, films, and images on this Site are the intellectual property of Umi's House and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, or reused without prior written permission.
Collaborative and professional work
Some projects shown here were produced in collaboration with other designers, firms, photographers, or clients, or in the course of professional practice. Where that is the case, rights may be shared and credit is given accordingly. Presentation of a project on this Site reflects the role Umi's House played in it and is not a claim of sole authorship where the work was collaborative.
Photography and collaborator credits.
We credit photographers, collaborators, and contributors wherever their work appears. If you are a collaborator and would like your credit added, corrected, or updated, email us and we will take care of it promptly.
Requesting use or licensing
To license an image, feature work in press or publication, or request permission to use any content from this Site, contact contact@umishouse.com with a short description of the intended use. We're glad to work with press and collaborators when credit and permissions are handled properly.
Corrections and takedowns
If you believe any content on this Site infringes your rights or has been credited incorrectly, email us and we will review and respond promptly.
Accessibility Statement
Umi's House Effective date: August 17, 2026
Umi's House is committed to making umishouse.com accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We believe good design and accessibility belong together.
Our approach
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a practical standard. This includes considerations such as clear structure, readable text, keyboard navigation, and meaningful alternatives for visual content.
Ongoing effort
The Site is image- and film-heavy by nature, and accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time fix. We continue to review and improve the experience as the Site grows and as we add new work.
Known limitations
Some embedded media, third-party content, or richly visual sections may not yet be fully accessible to every assistive technology. Where visual work is central, we are working to provide meaningful text descriptions and alternatives.
Feedback
If you encounter any barrier using this Site, or if there's something we can do to make your experience better, we want to hear from you. Email contact@umishouse.com with the page and the issue, and we'll do our best to help and to fix it.
